During the war of ZhuoLu, Huangdi won against Chiyou. The victory was all because of the Seven Beasts Tribe, Huangdi later awarded them one of the seven crystals for each tribe (Sun, Moon, Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth), each crystal contains a mystery power of its own. The Seven Beasts always have a conflict against each other. After the death of Huangdi, they finally decided to declare war against one another. After the war, the weaker tribes were eliminated and the seven crystals spread all around the country. Except for the Golden Wings which undergone isolation during that time, the other last two tribes of Blooded Fox and Crimson Tiger gone into a cold war state. Until the Years of Donghan, the night when the Long Rainbow pierce through the Little Purple Star, the mainland suffered from a gigantic earthquake. The crisis had destroyed uncountable houses, flatten the Mt. Five Field and caused volcanic eruptions. Young Xiahao and his master accidentally met with Zhangjiao's daughter, Zhangjie who later leads them to her father who is the head of Taipingjiao and the head of Xuanjigong. Together, they found the Ring of Seven Crystal Stars, an ancient apparatus for sealing the gate to the Demon World coming loose. If they leave it be, Evil monsters will cover up the whole country and disaster will befall. The only way to stop this is to recover all the seven crystals and to reset the apparatus in order to bring peace back to the human world once again.
